Yeah James I got all the measurements before we did Anything. I think I have every possible measurment you could come up with from the stock frame and probably a few more. Ha actually the lift is my buddies. When I did my last body drop it blew ass cause we had to lift the cab on and off by hand or jacks. This has made it much easier.
Twinkie I'm gonna bag it on the lower bars. Then probably slant the crossmember back to follow the angle of the step up. Then planning on coming off the frame rails with some bent tubing to the bag plates. Should look pretty good but fairly simple. I don't wanna go to wild.
Dude the progress pics look fukin cool man. Its always badass to see something re-incarnated to something crazier. It must be some challenging work to do all that, mad props man. Keep up the good work, and show more pics! Badass
Yeah the frame, well the whole truck was like a cluster fuck when I got it but the price was right and I couldn't pass it up. Just trying to think everything out before we do it so I don't later on go. . . damn I wish I would have.
Yeah Seth the bushings are a little bit smaller than I thought but I think It'll be aite. If not guess I'll be fixing it.
Frame and shit is the easy part. It is trying to clean up the wiring and sensors in the engine bay that is going to be a nightmare.
Haha Thats crazy the comparison to how you think the wires in the engine bay are a nightmare, and yet the chassis build seems cake to you. To me the chassis build would be mind consuming-but well worth it in the end. Looks good what you've done so far
Gonna lay 20's all way around. Not sure what design yet though cause haven't figured out the offset yet. Lookin at bout 2 3/4" bodydrop to lay flat rocker might be a tad more
Ha Ha like your sig. I'm not sponsored by mommy or daddy either but damn wish I had a few sponsors
