the block im talking about that doesnt work for us is the 2200 that was given to us. and not 100% complete. here are the pics it will be the b2000 engine then b2200 to easily compair. all pics will be in sets of two.

first set. b2000 with lower water outlet built into waterpump. then b2200 with outlet built into blockyou can also see the lack of the pipe that does to the heater core that runs down the engine

next is water pump location b2000 is covered still but you can see teh bump in the cover and its in the center. other is b2200 and off to the rightmaybe this is a 2200 out of someother mazda?

I could use a whole EFI swap kit, harness intake distributor and in tank pump maz duh... But likely shipping from canada and the purchase price would be crazy.

I could ship it out of Michigan Russ, I have some friends down there that I go visit sometimes. That would get rid of all the duty/customs/border crap. I'll keep my eyes open for a setup, they're getting more common as parts trucks up here now. Mileage is getting up there on alot of them so when they need work most ppl just bail on them and buy something newer it seems.

that fuelie motor is going to look like the 2.2 you have there on the stand, so make sure you get that coolant pipe that runs along the side of the motor. I havent paid attention to the casting difference before, my 2 liter has that same cast coolant port on the side of the block, I dont know what makes your engine different but as someone who likes to find stuff out I am intrigued and I will look it up.

Any way you look at it though, if you had the F2 coolant pipe you wouldnt be in a pckle right now.

That might be out of a car they ran the 2.0 and 2.2. in the 323's and shit back in the day and the blokc was pretty much the same but the head and everything else is ass backwards the distributor is in the rear etc. but I have heard of people using the blocks out of them by doing a little fab
