I believe that is an old South Texas //NC\\ ride. Hit up those guys I'm sure they have some storiies!! I'm old, his name is not coming to me right now. I like the whole restoration thing that is going on right now, it's awesome! I saw "LAST LOOK " last week at "Fire It Up", lookin' good!!

i think if buying a old classic mini like that its nice to keep it how it is. keep the piant the interior everything mostly the same.
what id say is body drop it on some nicer newer wheels to give it a more present day appeal abut still be the same truck it was back in the day. i dunno thats whad i do anyways

Oh Yeah I'd scoop it up but, u said you hate buying built....it might be something you regret down the road. I plan on trying to scoop up the orange and purple WiltBuilt Tukin Taco next time it's up for grabs. That is still my favorite mini ever.

Dude, the Tukin' Taco is my all time fav! I would love to pick that up someday as well. Whether your not into it or whatever, I resurrected the Hondoyta, Steve Nielson's old truck. Sittin', rusting. It's yellow...somewhat, LOL!

I say keep it as is, and just restore it.

I like the idea of modernizing it a bit, too. Throw some 18's and a BD on there. That'd be enough, ya know? I think it's hella nice!

The truck was built by Mark Manassco of Lake Jackson TX, he did pretty much all the work in his garage cept for the powder coating and the paint on the truck. The truck was painted by Max Maxwell (NOT Pat) of Houston TX. The truck has a very detailed suspension, everything is either paint, powder coat, or chrome. The engine is a 22R I believe, LC Engineering head, sidedrafts, and alot of machine work, a heck of a nice engine and will scoot along nicely. The interior was of grey tweed varity, it was clean but nothing spectacular. over all a nice truck and did win B.O.S. at THW in 97 or 98. alot of detail work in it, and im sure worth what ever the price is
