it will be hard to run a 3 link and keep the factory gas tank with out runing a pan hard bar because the gas tank to far to the center of the truck. The wishbone cant get enough of an angle to keep the axel centered

i built a wishbone on my old hardbody, used the stock leaf hangers in the front for the lower bars, and made a wishbone that had a bar parallel with the frame on the driver side about 3" from the frame, and a triangulated bar that ran from the frame pivot point to the top of the chunk on the rear end. i had to use different sized link tabs to keep the wishbone level, but it worked great, and i mounted the bags behind the axle.......

yes that would work not the most conventional method but it works

HEY CHRIS , DO YOU HAVE A DIAGRAM OF THAT SETUP, IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE WHAT I WANT TO DO IT BUT I CAN'T VISUALIZE HOW TO DO IT. THANKS

I agree with everyone who said wait and do it right. Just don't rush things, you'll be happier in the end. I like wishbone setups, I like seeing the different designs of how the upper bars can be done..
