hey if i shorten the rear axel what ofset can i run in a 18-20 and what will the front accomadate with no mods (the truck is bagged)

You need around a +42mm to +45 in the front with no mods. In the rear, if you are shortening the axle you can run what ever you want.

what mods will need to be done to run a 20x8.5 with a +35 offset in the front, will trimming the fender work?

i have a 18 x 8 with a 14mm offset and i was going to run 20x8.5 with a 35mm offset with no problems just make sure if you trim your fenders you strengthen them up a lil cause i trimmed mine and didnt and they are flimsy as hell ...... just get your wheels on before u do and cuttin !!!

I'v heard of people slotting the upper control arm mounts to let them move back some. That's what I was told was done to the maroon bodydropeed 92 in the owners profiles. I had a set of 17" KMC's with +14mm and they stuck out bad.

how does that work if both draggindakota and lowdak had +14 offset but one said they tucked and the other said they stuck out bad??????

1low02dak has an 02, I have a 93. There ae some older daks on here tucking rims with smaller offsets, but not sure how they did it. I only asked about the maroon one.

i was going to go with a lil higher offset like a +35 in a 20x8.5 you think this should work i have a 92 dak, i don't want to buy the wheels and not be able to use them

Try PMing Sickota on here. He has AR Maxims which usually have a +19 Offset & he tucks them with a bodydrop. Not sure what he did to get them to tuck though.

i have a 5 inch BD so you might not have to do as much work but like draggindakota said i got the Maxims no special mods to the wheels i ended up buying a set of tubular uppers, shortened them and made a new mounting bar. this gave me the camber i need to clear the fenders. not to difficult to do just takes some time to get the exact camber you need.
