Removing ABS??

Does anyone know how to remove an ABS system from a chevy caprice? Im tryin to put a york in my car and i think the ABS pump is gonna be in the way. I need to know how to take the pump out and still have brakes. Has anyone ever done this?

Yes...The ABS on these cars is an "add on" which means its a removable part of a brake system that will work without it. Search the brake forum on the impalass site and should turn up several people that have done this mod. I removed mine but havent got it completely plumbed back up.
