Unfortunately I dont have any pics of the shock mounts up front. But i ran them from the beginning...gave a nice ride on the longer trips for sure...unless you like the bouncy...bouncy! Also...pull out the torsions....they're not doing anything anyways. The bags are load rated and will support much more than the weight of your truck.

haha. as if you are bagged with torsion bars... how the hell would that even work??

Just a small suggestion, but pull off the torsions bars. Your bag is now the spring, you don't need both. When you remove them you can use the bolt holes for the front torsion brackets to locate your lower shock mount. I used a long cariage bolt inserted thru the front of lower arm for my lower mount. It is an old school way of doing it, but as long as the shock doesn't bind it works great. Thanks for your suggestion but I was told that it was not good to remove the torsion bars But I know that allot of mini truckers remove them anyway

If you cranked the torsions enough for you to lay out, then they arent doing anything anyways besides probably clanking around under you truck. Yup! My torsions are cranked You are correct

If you're bagged you don't need them at all. You don't need two sets of springs holding the truck up, and they'll just work against each other at times.Sorry, I am not a mechanic but from the factory the suspension consists of shocks, arms and torsions Obviously there is something that I dont get here

right, from the factory there are 2 arms, radius arms, torsion bars (which when twisted give a spring rate that keeps the truck off the ground) and shocks.

when you modify the suspension and add air bags, the bag gives the spring rate that keeps the truck off of the ground. therefore the torsion bar is no longer needed. the torsion bar has no other job than that, which is replaced by the bag.

in essence, the torsion bar was fired from its job and replaced by an airbag. you have a "milton" on your hands (thats an Office Space reference). they're just hanging around but not doing anything. unbolt them and use them as yard javelins or something.

as far as your shick issue is concerned, i noticed the way the shock was mounted before the bolts through the shock were perpendicular to one another. this causes the shock to bind and ultimately rip off your lower control arms. you should try a different shock all together. one with a loop lower mount and a stud upper mount. grab a suicidedoors.com front shock relocator kit, or fab one up similar to that and that SHOULD remedy your problems.

Thanks allot for all your info. It is much appreciated! Loved the Office Space reference since that I do work with a real life "milton" at my office At least I can do something about the "milton" under my HB ^^My truck as of April 2007 Me and a buddy were wondering the other day?!?! If I get the torsions removed, I should gain more lift up front right? Please let me know
