Well i wont say its the only way. Its the only way that has ever worked for me. Ive tried 3M panel bond, fusor, and a few other adhesive products and all show slight lines when placed in the hot sun. Has nothing to do with body work being done correctly of not. Doing a small repair is much different than making a filler panel and bonding it to it. I personally have never had any luck using incompatable materials next to each other (fiberglass to steel, plastic to steel, plastic to fiber glass). Some people just never notice the slight line that shows up when the panels get hot, and disappear when it cools down. Good luck with it though!!!!

I would suggest that you find a bumper reconditioning place and ask them about the products they use. Even the fillers they use are different than regular automotive grade filler.

yeah ill look into it bbut i dont think they have any places out here that do that... well i havent really looked..

Ask your local collision shop. They should know. Cheap ass insurance companies will recodition a damaged bumper to save 5 bucks, so they will know.
