i've never played before, this is something i found out about recently and i've been reading a lot of how to play. i have a question on the 2 teams of 2 rules.

if Player 1 from Team A makes it into the cup, then Team B has to drink it and then it goes to Player 2 from Team A; but if Player 2 misses the cup does it switch over to Team B? this is probably a dumb question, but i couldn't find any info on that scenario. thanks a lot.

yea thats right. rules vary with different people. the way we usually play is both partners throw before the other team drinks, and if player 1 and 2 from team A make it in the same cup, game over. team B is getting fucked up, they have to drink all of the beer.

Nobody drinks till both players from the other team have shot. Each team gets two shots per posession, IF both players make their shots, the same team gets posession again for two more shots. There are variations depending on where you play. Some people around here play that you can bounce the ball in the other teams cup but the defending team can swat the ball in bounce, and if you have a chick on your team she can blow the ball back out of one of your cups if its going 'round in circles, theres racking, overtime, a whole lot of variations. look it up on that wikipedia encylopedia...yes its actually on there

just play ping pong and get hammered. Rules in drinking games usually don't hold up for long anyway. I need to have a party. I miss any kind of pong period.

i host poker night for a group of friends and i thought this would something fun to try. i don't drink, but all my friends do. what is the drink of choice when you guys play?

Gotta be beer and a 12ish oz glass. If you use hard A of any kind you pretty much have to use a smaller glass which would take forever. I guess mixed drinks would work but any guy at my poker nights drinking a long island iced tea is getting shit all night.

Over here in Ohio beer pong is one of the most common drinking games at parties. Shit I've played more times than i could ever count. Theres also another version of it called speed pong where you only start with three cups, I cant really remember the rules to that one off hand but it gets you just as drunk as the original game.

Uh??? Three cups? we obviously play by different rules. Here is how we play

Stand as far back from the table as you can hit the ball to your opponents side, where the ball hits the table is where he puts his cup of beer, he does the same for yours.

Play regular ping pong but if you hit the other guys cup he takes a gulp, if you get a point he takes a "sip" if you get it in his cup he has to chug it.
