Took some pics of it today in its hiding spot for now. I got it sitting up on 6" blocks in these pics cause of the gravel.Im also slowly buildin up the motor, so as soon as its done Ill pull it back out and drop it in.
nice work bro, ur welds have really improved from start to its current state. its looking good, think i speak for everyone when i say lookin forward to seeing more
I agree with the welds I still got alot to learn but I consider myself capable now lol. The thing that bothered me the most were the welds on the notches. I found out after i was done makin the bird poop welds that the polarity was switched around on the welder. Before I painted the frame I ground down the welds and re did it. It came out pretty good.
The front only allowed me to fit re-6 it took a couple days to get it right. Its a really tight fit but it works fine.
This is at 60-80 psi my compressor sucks so it should lift a couple more inches.
yeah im trading my 72 hilux for a luv in a couple weeks and ive been taking notes on yours. the back of the one im getting is gonna be done already but i need to do the front.. so thanks for the sweet build pics
