both my viair leader hoses blew up within a month of use..i went to napa and had them make me a new one with some super tuff high psi hydro hose..never had a problem after that

To answer your question, plastic air line will fail at the temperatures generated by the compressor's head. A new leader hose for a 380C costs $13.56...

He'll have the new hose Friday
