4 link is out of the question with stock tank

build an offset wishbone 3link like seths

You can do a 4 link and leave the tank where it is. Just make the bars 20 inches long.

Talk to Keef on here he just did one not to long ago.

ya..u could use 20"as four link bars and have 46546545degrees of pnion angle change ...ull be better off movin the tank or building something around it with longer bars

^^^How long are the bars on the suicide doors 3link?

oh4sho   +1y
Does and one have the length of the link bars from the suicide 3 link. That is kinda the base of what i want to build

You can get away with some really short bars if you set the suspension up properly. If you look at the Nash and the '37 Ford on my profile, they both have upper bars that are probably only 12" long or so and they both have more than 8" of travel. The pinion change on a properly set-up link system is completely dependent on layout first, then bar length second. Read my sticky, draw out your design and you can squeeze 10 lbs into a 5 lb bag.

u can run a wish bone and run ur to longer bars to the rear, or do a reverse triangulated four link...i did one last month on a sonoma, reverese triangulated four link and the truck rides good, pinion angle never changes ...he wanted the cheapest way out 2600 lb bags over the axle and a really good pair of shocks

the SD kit has 15.5" bars. you can do a 4link with the stock tank, ive done plenty, 18-20" bars is about right. a wishbone is a bit easier tho, you save some room by only using one mounting point. always run it forward.
