just bought a d50 need help getting it running

i just picked up a d50 yesterday. the truck runs but after it warms up it wont idle. it wont pass smog guy said it was running to rich. but after i started digging into it alot of stuff is ghetto and not hooked up. but theres tons of vacum lines everywhere. its carburated. ive been building hondas for the last 4 years so i know how to work on motors. anywase i picked it up for 400 its in decent shape for the price.

first off where does this line go to? its larger then all the other vacum lines and its got a bolt shoved in the end of it i pointed to it with the screwdriver.

and where does the vacum line for this go to? it was capped off.

also whats the easyest way to lower this thing i know blocks in the back and its got springs up front. just cut them or what?

oh and how do i tell what motor this is? is there a stamp on it some where? dude told me it was replaced 2 years ago with a jap one but he rarely drove it.

Its a g54b and its a jap motor from the factory , they were built by mitsubishi and tagged dodge.

and just because you can handle a 10mm wrench and a screwdriver on your honda doesnt mean you a motor god. lol had to do it.

wow your helpful is this how it is on this site? when did i say i was a motor god? just saying i know how to work on a car. but seeing as this is the first mini truck ive owned i dont know much about it. and where is the stock fuel pump in the tank? cause theres a ghetto inline one on there now.

go to the junkyard and find a starion or conquest tsi with a good motor. its the 2.6l block which will bolt in place of your 2.0 and its turbo.

that should help tons with the vaccumm routing info. but SSM is helpful. some people here are just goobers, dont take them too seriously.

ya i got it running. thanks for the info on the motor swap but i dont think thats gona work with ca smog.

The engine code is on the tag on the passenger side of the firewall (shown in the picture) and that appears to be a 4GT63 2.0L.
