Are you going directly over metal or are you just going to be going over fill/paint/primer? If you are going over metal it wouldn't be a bad idea to stick with an epoxy primer. The epoxy primers will stick very well to bare metal, and it will seal it so that you don't get any corrosion from any moisture soaking through it. Most of the urethane primers/sealers out there are not really designed to stick to bare metal. PPG makes a blue tinted epoxy which is DP60LF. A gallon with two quarts of activator should run you right in the range of $200, and that should be enough to shoot the exterior of your truck twice. So two quarts would probably be about $120 and that should seal the whole truck.

It will be over fill/paint/primer..

So for my S-10, 2 Quarts of sealer, with however much paint needed for the color desired would be enough? (I want it a light blue color)

How much would the k93 and ncx255, and some blue paint run? He uses all PPG where he works, so he'd rather use PPG.. Not sure which exact stuff he priced up, but he said it was their "better" line.. and that the cheaper line would save me $150-200.

I would use white paper. Green has a lot of fibers in it. I work for the local chevy dealership and all we use is white paper! Doesn't have any type of fibers in it, Just a lot cleaner and worth the extra money

for primer i dont think it really matters. All we use is the green paper and never have any problems

dude go with some dupont stuff, all the paint to do my ext cab fullsize 3 colors was only 800 bucks, and that was on the chromabase and hot hues line..... get some nason, and you'll come out of the store with like a 200 dollar bill for paint and tape and paper.......
