They plugged in the little computer thing under the dash and it wouldn't read. They just handed me a piece of paper and said "Bring it back when your computers reset"

And the paper said that it couldn't scan need to re-set it or something.

I don't know what it's talking about or how to "reset" it.

Your going to basically need to go to a jiffy lube where you can pay someone off to just pass it. Thats what I had to do 2 weeks ago.

Jiffy lube does emissions? I think out here I have to take it to the actualy emissions place where it's all they do.

They call them Test Only stations. Just a standard smog station that doesn't do repairs.

But what he is saying is to find one of the shady places that will pass you for a substantial fee. Up here it starts at $400 for a pass and just goes up from there.

But by reset, they might want you to get the comuter flashed. Which the dealership can do, and also some mechanic shops will be able to but most send the computer out to be flashed.

We live in AZ, have to goto a emissions station. Not able to find a crooked place.
I can fix it for $30 dollars and a lighter lol.
They need to check the wires that were lengthened and see what is not passing a signal.
Good luck with it.

check the fuse for the cig. lighter, if its blown, it wont connect through the data link connector.
