Can't pass emissions

Yea like phillip said. Bring that truck to nc. I paid $30 under the table for the guy to pass it. Sure both engine bay doors were closed and the DMV was actually across the street all day with binoculars, but it passed. It was either that or pay the $250 civil penalty and not be able to ever renew my registration until I got it to passed. Or go to SC where you don't have inspections.

If you have any other vehicles, transfer the tags from one to the vehicle that wont pass, my 300C wont pass emissions because of the computer throwing codes but to transfer tags here in tn, there 10-15 bucks
Easy fix

i got lucky, went to meineke to get a cat put on and told him it needed an inspec. he was like ok cool. welded on the cat and then didnt even check shit just typed passed for everything.

THANKS! haha. Took it to checker to make sure it would scan and it did and didnt throw codes. Got a new gas cap (that wont tighten cuz filler neck too deep in bed) but holds pressure to pass it tomorrow, surprisingly it's not thorwing codes with 2 mufflers that look like they've been to hell and back.

SO pass it tomorrow and than I can do my marine billet fuel filler in the bed floor. Than I don't think they'll ever be able to test the gas cap again lol

yea thats one think i like about living in sc is we dont have emissions. they are talking about in the next couple years us getting them and that blows cause neither of my trucks would ever pass. But id start by double checking your wiring.

If you find a cool enough smog guy you can bring a stock cap in next time. Mine said he'd pass me if I brought a stock cap in if I had something else in place.
