just a thought but if they say no turbo im sure a supercharger is a no go also. id suggest a v6 grand prix or grand am. a cavalier would be an easy find also
A fella around the corner from me races in a Cavalier and does fairly well, considering it has a blown head gasket. My brother in law is about the rebuild the engine for him...so hopefully soon, he'll be doing even better.
get a mid 90's 2 door civic
throw a b18 with vtec heads and b20 crankshaft with some aluminum rods and pistons... they wont know it aint stock itll pull 300 horsepower easily with stock manifold
