Can anyone help me out with how to pull this off? Detailed information and such? The truck is B/D'd to the rockers.

how much of a body drop do you have? i have a 2.5" body drop and a 1.5" frame Z,which equals out to a 4 inch body drop, and i can stick my hand between my intake and my hood still...i used seths 1.5" motor mounts, sectioned the oil pan, notched out the steering link, and made a new control arm crossmember to clear the oil pan...was pretty darn easy

Im not near the truck right now, till the weekend...but does anyone know how much approx. room is between the bottom of the oil pan and the oil pickup? Only need like half an inch. lol

the oil pan basically has 3 levels to it..you can take off the whole bottom level and make it even with the second and it wont mess with the pickup tube...the pickup is on the second level of it...

you dont need to section the pan because they dont hang below the tranny, i built a new engine crosmmember, lowered motor motor mounts, and a shetmetal intake, but then again mine has a smaller chassis as far as height goes so there is less room betweeen the cab and ground when layed out.

i duno it took me all of about an hour to do my steering arm and put the motor mounts in, and another couple hours to do the pan...pretty simple i thought, i duno how the heck i woulda went about machining a new intake plenum, and if you drop the motor any more than about an inch your gonna drag your oil pan...

Your truck also isn't an 89-95 pre Taco, so this doesn't apply to him. Just a thought.

i have an 89 ex cab yota layin mid rocker and what i did was raised my motor so i have 2in between oil pan and ground it all fits under the stock hood with side draft carbs with no prob. its just one thing you can do but the art of all this is everyones different. so do what you want and like.... Thanks Seth...tis also a 22re and fuel injected so talking about a 3.4 or side drafts doesnt do to much for me.

Chase is going to mod the steering linkage, mod the engine crossmember, section the 3rd hump off the oil pan, and lower the motor mounts some more. Should be good to go after that. Thanks all for your help.
