I may be talking to you about that in the future Max. If I do decide to use it instead of a straight axle. I'd much rather have a setup that functions well.

I have the RX7 Irs in my dime. it was my choice of rear end because of ease to get and how easy it would be to build a frame for. But looking back on it, it wouldn't have been much work at all to do just about any rear end you want. I dont think you would have any problem what so ever pushing 300 with a rx7 irs. I get about 10" of travel with it and could be more if I set it up a little different. All and all its a pretty easy rear end to work with.

im using a mark viii rear in mine, same as thunderbird but with disk brakes. it has a pretty easy control arm setup but its way too wide for a mini so im just making all my own arms and shortening the shafts. the cradle is junk too, its housed in 1.5" dom now.
