I have a question about runnin a reverse four link on a daily driven. I was reading the 4-link sticky again, and I was wondering if there are any undesirable effects caused by runnin it reverse instead of foward. I would like to run it reverse so i wouldnt have to deal with the gas tank problems. Thanks for any help ya'll can give me.

I have installed a can do reverse link on an Isuzu about a year and a half ago or longer cant remember. Since the install he hasn't had a single problem with it, It is a daily driver and a play truck as well, don't be scared to jump into a reverse link, Everything has its negative points. One good tip though make sure you measure like crazy don't get trigger happy, and go to welding all the tabs in before you are certian everything is lined up right.

the original owner of the tacoma had a FWD 4-link, than the owner after that swapped it out for a reverse (i dont know why) - and Ive heard nothing but reverse is horrible. But, its rides and drives great, haven't seen or had any problems with it since we've had it.

You will get some wheel hop under hard acceleration.....

yep, i can agree with that. When I try and do burnouts, most of the time the rear bounces pretty darn bad. Other than that, I'm ok with reverse 4 links. BUT, if i were to do it over again, I would stick with the forward and get a fuel cell. You will probably need one anyway in case you like dragging through tanks

either go with a forward 4link and a fuel cell or keep your stock tank and go with a wishbone!

i have heard many bad things about reverse four links too, but my daily has one and i never had any problems at all with it. it rides great. i never had any wheel hop. pinion angle stays the same. my bags are on my bottom bars, a month ago i bagged a s10 using a reverse four link that i built out of 2x2, just like my f150, and his bags or on top of his axle and his truck rides just as good and no wheel hop there either. the key is to make sure everything is lined up and make sure everything is parralell.
