I could be wrong about that but its definitely close. Tell me what you guys think. This is my dads car that weve been building for a while.

What we started with.

Strut supports/front cage with internally boxed frame rails

The beast thats going in it: 2.2L, bored .080 over, 16:1 compression, forged pistons and rods, lightenend and knife edge crank, performance cam, dual solex 44mm sidedrafts, fully ported and polished head, drysump system, MSD ignition w/ remote timing adjustment, one-off aluminum flywheel, race clutch, 240z 5-speed. Around 330 HP

Rear setup: narrowed 240sx subframe with Q45 LSD and adjustable chromoly arms and shortened axles on the way.

Stance before carbon flares. wheelwell is cut up 4". Also they are 17x10 BBS 3 piece meshies with some 285 tires

After flares

The cage really flows together.

Started building framework for the floor and tranny tunnel. dual 2.5" exhaust will run below the driveshaft. firewall is getting setback 5" all the way to the 2x2 tubing. And going to add removeable door bars where its not not complete since itll get some street driven miles.

Interior is gonna sport some Recaros, full sound system with Kicker L5 sub and MB Quart component speakers, recovered panels with carbon accents

So tell me what you guys think. Ill keep updating it as it progresses.

fucking SICK. I love the look of the flares. That whole "almost no gap" deal just gets me. Love it man. Definitely some sick work.

330Hp out of an N/A L series motor????? I wont believe it until i see a dyno sheet. Most turbo L's dont even make that kind of power. Im looking for 250whp in my datsun 521 in an N/A package, but im swaping a KA into it. Much more realistic and drivable than even 200whp out of a N/A L motor.

330 may have been a little high but i know its at least 300+. the SSS head is ported out so much(and flow benched) that we had to section another head and measure thicknesses to not port into the water jackets. we had to port it so much just to match up to the size of the manifold. drivability is not goin to be a problem with how we are building the car.. itll see a lot more track and hill climb time than street time.

it runs 110 octane but needs a gear reduction starter and a timing box to retard the timing at starts to get it started.

we also have a 215 aluminum block Buick V8 sitting on the shelf thatll be treated with some boost and go in eventually. Thats why we are building up the rear drivetrain so much.

Thanks for all the comments and ill keep the pics updated.

Looks pretty sweet. I've always wanted a 510 Wagon. With a plate that said NKLDIME.

The rear wheels just showed up that were using. theyre 17x10 5zigen FN10R-C with 275/40zr17. ever seen a 40 series with that big of sidewall? had to cut almost 7" outta the quarterpanel.compared to the old wheels.started fitting in the parimeter front hoop, barely clears the top of the tire.
