Nice! 510's in any form are the stuff! Myself and a freind started his 510 wagon a little while ago, the rear is layed out so far, the front suspension needs a bit of re-working, the main thing that is slowing us is our work schedules, they kind of conflict with eachother! Good luck with the rest of the build, cant wait to see it finished!

Yeah, I liked the BBS more to but we had already narrowed the 240sx rear subframe and Infiniti axles for a certain offset and the BBS ended out being a different offset than was stated. So we ordered some wheels that were 1" wider instead. So the BBS went on my moms Lexus

Ive always wanted to bag a 510, thats sick ur doin it Patrick. Ive got one that may end out bagged down the road.

As far as where the car sits now, we havent had much time lately to work on it but the fully adjustable rear control arms showed up from Battle Version.

after quite a few times of building, changing our minds, and redoing it, were finally moving forward. we have a new powerplant coming from down under right now, a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R front clip. we had tossed around a few ideas of other motors but decided why not make an AWD 510 with an SR20det? so thats the plan right now. we just about got the rear wheels on the ground.

i was also thinking about how this isnt really the place to put my other project in because its mostly bagged stuff on this site. but i figured any minitrucker out there would appreciate some cool fab work.

we're gonna add some gussets to the to these mounts but its almost done.using a cut up subframe to jig up the mounts on driver side.gettin close to start sheetmetal workheres the motor thats goin in

Is that the actual motor going in? Because that looks like a FWD platform, and I don't think the blocks are interchangeable.
However, your power figures make a bit more sense, as an SR20DET can actually hit the 300+ hp mark more realistically than any L series I've ever seen...
Killer build- keep us posted!

the old motor was actually a z series motor out of a newer 200sx with an l series SSS head with forged 280zx pistons so it wasnt really much of an l series.

the SR20DET pictured is out of a nissan pulsar GTI-R front clip we ordered. it has an AWD drivetrain, hence the transverse mounted motor. its got a Greddy TD-06 turbo, ported, polished, forged rods and pistons, and quite a few other goodies. we are waiting on the front clip to get here to figure out our front suspension setup. itll be a tight fitting setup in there with how far the motor sits forward so we'll have to mount the radiators, tranny and oil coolers in the back vented through the quarter panels and will be ducted out the back of the car.
