Anyone shop at Harbor Freight?

The blue Drill Master grinders for 10 bucks ar the shit I had one last 6 mounths being used hard every day. Thanks Seth you rock!

The only thing I bought from there that was total junk was a grinder. I have it still, returned 5 times, but i just use it with the wire wheel. I have 2 dewalts for the heavy grinding. I also, have the bandsaw, it works good but it's hard to dial in the blade tension. To much, and the blade breaks, not enough and it slips off. It works good though. I also have a chop saw from there that i've been trying to kill the last 6 months since the warranty's fixin to go out. Hasnt died yet. I would rather have 10 harbor freight tools than 1 snap on tool. Like I said, they get the job done.

Thanks bro! I'll be using those soon. I only buy certain things there. I tend to stay away from their power tools. I do have some air tools though. I think the coolest thing I bought was the planetary ring roller. I use it all the time forming curves in 1/4 round stock. Hella time saver when framing my dash and console. Theres some cool stuff in there. You just have to be creative with it.

I have a welder from them. So far it works well with no issues. I also have a grinder that I got from there and it has lasted a year almost.

Yeah you can't beat their air tools. $10 air grinder with all the attachments. Lol.

It works just fine, as long as you buy a legit blade somewhere else. The teeth on their blades face the wrong direction.

They put one coupon on the website and it said to print it out and bring it to the store. They new that a lot of people would have the same bar code. They don't scan them anyway. I think they're too old to be in the system anymore.

If the teeth face the wrong direction. roll the blade in to its self to flip it inside out.

how much does that bandsaw go for and is it worth buying? ive used probably every other power tool of theres at work... (company figured it was a cheaper alternative) that was until i had to go once a week to exchange 3-4 grinders.... killed one of the chopsaws the first day. but my paint gun actually lasted me 10 yrs till the cup finally cracked at the top.

I use mine every day. The blades they sell loose teeth really quickly, so I buy Rigid blades at Home Depot and they work awesome. It cuts slow, but it always cuts really straight. The only downfall I can see, is with extended use the motor gets hot. I used mine for roughly 6 hours straight yesterday, cutting piece after piece of 2x2 1/4" wall, and by the end of the day the motor was pretty hot. But a better quality electric motor could be installed, they're pretty universal.

I got mine when it was on sale, and use the 20% coupon, and it was about $110 with tax.

Also they're green. Just in case you hate that colro for some reason.
