Im building a 2 link with a wishbone for my rodeo and i must be doing something wrong.. i lower the rear end and it dips down. The bushings swivel and allow the rear end to twist..
this wishbone is only tacked in
I need Advise and help

I would say that the lower bar tabs need to be under the axle more. Also the wishbone needs to come down. The lower bars are pointing down and the wishbone is pointing up. The mounting point for the wishbone looks a little questionable to me also.

Chris is right.

Your lower bars are to short. They might work for you but move the axle mounts below the axle and make your axle tabs hang lower, about 4in. I would say.

You want to keep your bars as close to parrallel as possible so they follow the same circular pattern.

move the lower tabs down more is going to help it from wraping around?
I HATE 4 -links!
there is no lower place to mount the wishbone.. that crosmember is going to be for my driveline, this truck lays door, so the drive line is really high

you could probably flip the wishbone around and make new mounts for the front and have the wishbone mounted on top of the axle in the middle. just a thought.

would that work? and then run the other end on each side of the crosmember,
will that fix it from twisting?
what if i mounted the tabs pointing up instead of out the side, would that help?

heres a pic from biomax's 4link article. the bars should point towards the front of the ride around the grille area. i would read the thread, it has a LOT of very usefull information.

Are you saying its letting the axle still move side to side? Or you're getting a lot of pinion angle change?

And I hate to tell you, but a bodydrop doesn't make your driveline any higher.

I dont know what to say about that.

The lower tabs on the rearend need to be longer and the upper wishbone mount on the chassis needs to be lower... there is no other way around it.

Your upper wish-bone is going to fight you, Why not just build a triangulated 4-link or a traditional 4-link with a pannard-bar? It will make proper bar placement much easier.
