for someone to DESIGN a front suspension, be it based off a production truck, or changed up to accomidate uniballs/air ride/whatever else? What I mean is, can anyone design one digitally for someone else to build, with all the measurements and numbers that are needed?

Maybe I am way off base.

You're looking at a lot of money. Especially for someone to design something that they don't have in front of them and they're just going off of factory specs.

Hell, I figure it can't be anywhere near these custom frames people are poppin out. Those gotta be designed somehow, no?

As I said, I may be way off base, just looking at options and crap. Really don't want to do a chevy clip.

Why not do a f150 front suspension? I had a 70 that was lifted that I had a shop here in Cali put in.

it's been thought about, not much though. I just really don't want a front clip.. but I may have to settle.

I'm working on jigging up two front suspension setups based on Toyota and C10 suspension to build from scratch.

Also have you considered a FatMan suspension kit? Not that pricey.

Whats it for?

Sean, it's for a 72 f100. Seth, the c10 clips are exact width of my trucks, maybe we can talk. Are you talking full front clip or just crossmember/arms/steering? And yes, I have considered a fat man kit, I just don't have the money up front to do that. I figured if I could build the frame, I can get suspension pieces as affordable by me.
