some people go 22s and rework the blower box, but with a 24...i doubt ull have enough room for the blower motor even if u rework the box and move it...ill just have to see when i get to that point...but like joel said u can always try an aftermarket ac

yea you can try a vintage a/c unit. I'm bodydropped on 22s and i kept my factory a/c so I think that just layin frame on 24s the a/c could be kept. it all depends on the tires, if you go with what everyone calls the "pussy ass" 275/25/24 it can easily be kept or a 295/25/24 or even the 305/30/24 i think that the factory a/c could be kept.

yea bout the v6 thing its not something I looked into just assumed that since it was a smaller engine it would therefore take up less room sideways, but never looked into it by any means.

i belive its alittle smaller... but i dont think it matter unless you are moving your a arms mounts closer to the motor

it matters quite a bit actually. a narrower motor would give you room to run a hydroboost on the firewall ... theres not much room between the tire and motor with the larger motor.

when i worked at ekstensive we did one stock floored on 26s and with out doing the front end swap the tires would of came out of the hood. Go to www.ekstensive.com and look at the pics of it. There was room to run the hydro boost with the v8 on it...

well with 24s u shouldnt have to run hydraboost, a smaller booster will work fine, laying rockers...not sure bout laying door

I KNOW YOU GUYS ARE TALKING ABOUT 22'S AND 24'S AND BRAKE PROBLEMS BUT MY STOCK BOOSTER HIT MY 20 WHEN I BODYDROPPED IT. I FOUND A DIRECT SWAP. A BOOSTER OUT OF AN OLDER MODEL EXPLORER BOLTED RIGHT UP AND THE STOCK MASTER CYLINDER FIT NO PROBLEM. NOW IT CLEARS THE TIRE BY OVER HALF AN INCH. I DUNNO IF THAT WOULD CLEAR A 22 0R 24 BUT THOUGHT I'D THROW THAT OUT THERE JUST IN CASE. IT'S CHEAP AND EASY.

yeah i used a booster off of a 93 mustang

Jesse im EXTREMELY close to my booster doored with 22's and a 255/30/22 - and it's a '96 explorer booster, bout 2 or 3 inches smaller than the F150 booster.

i think i just want to lay frame on 24s

i've decided to lay frame on 24x10s w/15mm offset, i think the tires i want will be 295/30/24s, but i would love to see what it took to do that blue bodydropped f150.
