just wandering if anyone is running 3 12's in there ride? if so how is it wired and any pro's / con's to that choice of setup ? any pics of custom setups with that configuration would be great.

yeah but how would you wire an odd number of subs to 1 amp. does the ohmage have to be a whole number?

the12volt.com Explains all wiring options you should check it out.

you should also be able to find how to wire them on rockford fosgates site, on their wiring wizard.

I had 3 12's in my old Lincoln continental, and then the same 12's in my old blazer.

I believe they were wired to 1.33 or 1.67 ohms.

there's the link to fosgates wiring wizard. just plug in 3 for the quantity, and then select your voice coil configuration. It should probably give you 2 different ways to wire.

the impedance (ohms) doesn't have to be a rouded off number, just so long as you don't go below the amps specifications

im running 3 jl audio 12's, sounds great, 1 ohm load, amp is 1 ohm stable... ( lower the ohm load, the less resistance to the speaker, more bass with less watts!!! ) i'll try to find wiring diagram for you...
