3m panel adhesive is some seriously strong shit!...the z06 is glued with it and so is the new amg benz...it's like $75 for the gun and adhesive but it doesn't shrink or swell...just like elmer's glue but for cars...if you can build or make a lip on the tubs so they sit against the quarters, it would work better...kinda hard to explain but you should get my drift

fusor makes some good bonding adhesive too..and the newer bmw's have the front aluminum frame clips glued together..

3m panel bond will hold anything BUT is has to be cured under pressure(aka clammped)but if you were to put the tubs in then same wedge a board or sumthing in between them to hold them agains the quater, it will cure. if fixed my fiberglass body hammer with it(metal head came off fiberglass handel) and it hasnt came off yet!

OR try this. its only 15 bux(american)http://www.por15.com/POR-PATCH?sc=2&category=148

the fender more than likely has a lip that shoots out about 3/4 of an inch... go straight up with a peice of sheetmetal from the edge of that lip and meet up with the tub.. that way you dont have to weld or glue anything to the inside of the outside fender... probly didnt make much sense did it? this is what im talking about....this is how im doing mine right now...

p.s. thats not my truck.. just an example of how mine is being done and a suggestion maybe for yours... cheers!

Bottom line is use adhesive like panelbond. As far as being cured under pressure, maybe for structural work but it will cure without pressure and will hold up. we put some on a tire, let it dry, and drove the truck all over town putting plenty of miles on it, and guess what, the panel bond was still intact even though it cured without pressure....

One word of advise if u do use seam sealer spray some primer down first anytime to scrape that sh*t away theres always rust under it. Don't let this scare u from using it just spray some primer first.
