i have 3 viar 380 compressors and a 7 gallon tank i want to install in my civic. should i put all three or is that gonna be overkill for 7 gallons? i have 2 yellow top optimas on the car plus 2 amps and a capacitor. should i put each compressor on its own relay or get a silinoid for all three?im worried the comressors are gonna kill my batterys

its a bit much, but it should be fine, unless your like me and hit switches for hours and hours and hours.
I've wired them both ways but a relay on each would be better IMO because if a relay goes out, you still have 2 compressors, but if the solinoid goes out, you loose all 3. Either way should be fine though.

NO ITS NOT A BIT MUCH actually 3 would be nice but 4 would be great, the 380 is a well liked and used pump because of its high psi capabilities, not for its fast fill times, its a smaller pump so less cfm but over time more psi, 3 of them should be sufficient for a normal amount of hitting switches. normal to me is air up when you leave, air down to drive, air up for driveways, air down when parked, with the occasional switch throw in traffic or at a stop light etc.

im gonna try it see what kind of power they are gonna draw. i think ill go with each compressor having its own relay so if one goes out ill still have the others.ill get some pics up when its all installed

can i mount the viar 380's upside down under my ride?

i know of a few people that have ran them upside down, side ways, i am pretty sure it dont matter on those. plus if you want you can take the mounts off and put them on the side. the more air the beter too lol

i have 3 viair 450s in my dakota with 1 silinoid and they are fast and dont seem to take up much power

you should run them sideways or right side up, because those fancy ribs on the head arent for the ladies pleasure, but for heat dissipation, and everyone knows heat rises!

damn!! i didnt even think about turning the mounts to the side and mouning them sideways
