Air Zenith is a POS

i hear you i had one custom 3 gallon tank under the rear bumper of my xb, it took so long to fill with the 1st gen pos airxenith i hated it i know have 2 3 gallon tanks and my one little 380 fills both faster than my airzenith did the one. and when i called airzenith. they asked for a reicept. i told them i bought it from jasons "suicide doors" booth at bloodrag and nevr heard back from air zenith.. as far as im concerend they suck and the customer service were aholes... thanks airzenith for a waste of money and ontop of that never sending me a replacement.

o blew a pressure switch at a show like 200 miles from my house i ran one of my 4 az for 3 hours straight with no problems at all .ive had viairs and there good but customer care sucks .imo ilike az

i have a a/z on my taco and it starting to go out just noticed the other day that its now taking twice as long to fill up....

I've had no problems with the Air Zenith Compressors, I got mine from Hornblasters two years ago and they've held up, Granted I'm just using them for air horns but so far so good. I think they cut me a deal 2 for $500 with free shipping when I ordered them. Wink Wink.

Ive have nothing but troubles with my az so far I have replaced the piston becouse it broke in 2 the front bearing went out on me, the piston reed valve disintegrated and had to get a new piston cylinder becouse it slopped out and would not make pressure. even though all these problems I still like it when it works and will be getting another one I will have to give there customer service props they always seem to be able to help ya out

I got rid of my two Zeniths on my dime cuz there peices of shit. The bullshit fans quit working after a week. Plus the recall they had last year didn't do shit for them. Yes they took a shorter amount of time to fill my 12 gallon tank but I don't give a shit about fill time I need reliability. Plus I think they wire up kinda weird. Like mentioned before they are noisy as hell compared to the Viair 480's. The Air Zeniths are a very pricy comp and you would think you would get a good quality comp for $300 bucks a peice but you don't get your moneys worth and you get screwed. Yes fill times are quicker but for the price you pay they are not worth the problems they give. I think these compressors are not reliable at all and there peices of shit. I wouldn't recommend Air Zenith compressors for anyone. Even if they went down majorly in price they still are not worth it. I replaced my Zeniths with two Viair 480's and haven't had a prob since. Viair is the only way to go. Buy Viair. My 2 cents.

i am one of the few, but i love my AZ, i got one right after they came out, it is even one of the recalled ones, and i had been driving it daily until about a month ago, ran it to 200psi, and it hasnt failed me yet ,maybe i just got lucky, and its on an 8 gallon tank
