Is your bag not giving you enough lift or is you balljoints binding up?

I have BYC control arms and firestone bags and im not get enough lift for some reason. How can i tell if my ball joint is binding up?

the ball joint won't be able to lean anymore, it will be basically holding the arms from going anymore. if its not that, you could switch out to Slam bags which will be an extra few inches lift.

I had slam bags and when aired up i went above stock height in the front, but it also matters on your bracket placement. I wasnt bodydropped either but i'm pretty sure you would still get more lift from slam bags.

the one i bagged got retarded lift. like 4-5" over the tires. i used stock everything and 'stones. basically had the bag as close to the frame as possible. it probably would have gotten more with slams and trimming the UCA lip so it wouldnt hit the bag or bracket.

Hydros will pull mad lift and ride nice when you have the front lifted to clear your fenders if you have a set of properley tuned accumulators inline. We set one up at the shop on 8 inch cylinders with stock lowe ball joints and stock upper joints on a pie cut arm and it pulls about 12 1/4" of lift from laying frame. This is maxing the upper ball joint out both directions. We had to put a restrictor in the cylinder to limit its travel to 7 1/4 to avoid ripping things up balljoint wise. If you have your spindle reamed to accept an S10 upper ball joint you can achieve even higher lift. good luck to you with it.

you have to move your top control arms up angle your ball joints on top and add a spacer between you lower control are and spindle

You don't have to use hydros to get the lift you need. Just make sure your balljoints arent binding and that your bag is totally deflated when layed out. If the bag is maxed out then try and use a slam. If the balljoints are binding then pie cut the upper arm. If that dont work use uniballs for balljoints, but I doubt you would have to do that. Your stock balljoints should give you enough.
