ok... Get a PAC-SNI35. Its a hi/low loevel converter. It take the hi level from your factory stereo and converts it to an RCA patch cable low level out put to hook to your amp. You can either grab signal behind the factory head unit or at any of the speakers. Best to use the right rear speaker. Thats where most bass is focused. Right rear + is Dark blue. - is light blue. You will have to find an ignition wire at the ignition harness for a turn on lead for the amp. If your truck as a factory amp you can use the factory turn on lead which is white that is also the power antenna lead.

hmm interesting and its cheap!

Where would one get something like that?

most local stereo shops should have one or something similar. Stinger makes 2 versions as well. One is for lower wattage systems and another is for higher wattage systems. I have had the best luck with the PAC unit though. call around to local shops and see what they offer. Need anything else e-mail me @ twistedgalant@yahoo.com or hit me up on myspace.com/twistedgalant. Thanks
