Thanks for thr link 2manyyotas, seems pretty clear by the posts I need to repaint the truck. Hoping to get it done this winter or early spring.
Eff that! Do it the way YOU want it done. Who gives a damn what all these armchair truck builders think.
I dig it. I mean, personally, I would have picked some different colors, but if that's your thing, roll it. Still a sweet rig.
Thanks for the vote of confidence JCampbell, but painting the truck has always been on my top list of things to do.
That paint on the truck is about 8 years old and is in great shape, but is not the color or two tone pattern I want. I had Hills Hot Rods shave the gutters and repaint the roof skin down to the cab seams, I also had some pinstripping done but you cant polish a turd it needs to be painted.
I went ahead and installed the one piece front glass so I could put on the power mirrors all at the same time while I had everthing apart now the holes from the factory mirrors in the doors are driving me nuts. So now it is time to paint plus I want to shave the emblems and trim, and remove the over the rail spray in bed liner.
I was going to ask you about those mirrors.
Did you have to mod them much to move them that far up on the door?
It looks good. I'm normally not a big fan of the one piece windows, but for some reason, it works on that truck.
They were very easy to move forward I was bale to use the front factory mirror hole for the back hole of the new mirrors and I drilled 2 more new hole to finish mounting them. I have another set of new power mirrors if anyone is interested in them.
Wut he said x2.
No, wait. Let me criticize your paint job while I roll around town in original 1994 black with the clear ate all the way off and the black on the hood/roof down to the primer. That's my two-tone, bitch! Recanize!

Thats some funny shiot there, I guess I never look at it as the guy pointing out what looks bad probably does not even have a decent ride. Thanks Richard for the reminder.
The sad part is I was actually describing my truck.
Hey it looks good from the sides though! Maybe I should lift it so nobody can see the roof.
Richard
Looks good, love the wheels.
