The material is all DOM! Heck it is still stamped on half of the tubing.

as far as driveshaft clearance. At full layed out there is a little more then 3/4 of a inch of clearance between wishbone and upper tube, and there is a ton of driveshaft clearance.

yes the rearend is narrowed 5.25 inches to clear the flares.

Yeah I am still in Aftermath, jsut currently no vehicle of my own right now

i dont mean to be a negative nancy, but i the shop i work at goes through several hundreds of feet of DOM tubing a month, and i have never seen any that looks like that, and the blue line im sure is an electric welded seam.... and DOM is seamless tubing...

the link bars are DOM, notice the brown coating..... ive never seen 1.5" DOM without that coating, and we have gotten tubing from several different mills.....

look at the arrows i drew, they are pointing to welded seams....

and by no means is it a weak material, its used in tons of rollcages across the country.....

I dunno you maybe right, but the tube mill is stamping tubing as DOM and selling HREW. And Chris I buy stuff from you guys all the time, check me out I'm a dealer for you. The link bars, and end links came from you guys!! As far as knowing tubing also. My family business is the largest user of HREW tubing east of the Mississippi. I'm gonna check the rest of my stock tomorrow. Also one other thing is the entire frame has been media blasted to remove the coating

Why are you arguing about what he has built his frame out of? You are nothing but a know-it-all asshole. He said it was dom tubing so leave it alone and quit trying to talk shit to another mini truck brother. Bottom line is its badass and you need to take your attitude somewhere else and quit picking...

theres alot i dont know....... but i do know that DOM tubing doesnt have a seam....

skittdattle, i have 2 brothers, and neither of the 3 of us are "minitruck brothers".....

I have some non-coated 1.25" 1/8 wall DOM at the shop right now. First I'd ever seen of it but its definitely seamless.

Frame looks pretty slick. In this pic:

where there is the bends at the bottom right was that 2 pieces of tube joined?

shhhhhhhhhh!! dont ask any questions hater!! i didnt mean the part about coating, i have seen larger sizes of DOM at the machine shop up the road uncoated, but im talking about the blue lines on the tubing, most likely an electric weld seam.....
