anybody else had problems with oasis compressors killing batteries, i've got 2 deep cycle batteries and a 190 amp alternator and this thing just keeps dragin em down, if anybodys got any ideas that'd be badass thanks

i run run an edc instead.

yeah... it just sucks payin $700 for the thing and it's givin me nothin but problems for about 4 years now

It pulls alot of juice man......like 180 amps. That can drain batteries really fast.

have you tried bigger gauge wire? seems like if you use smaller gauge wire, you'll have to supply more amps to keep the voltage where it needs to be. I would guess that thing needs what, like 0 or 00 gauge power cable if it's ran any decent length

the wire's pretty thick, it's weldin lead that's suppose to be used for an arc welder

none of you other guys have had problems with these? this thing has killed 5 optimas now, i see a lot of other folks that run these there's gotta be somthin i can do

how big is that wire? to carry that kind of current across a distance you're going to need some stuff that's like 1/2-3/4" thick, I would even run that to the alternator since it's a high output
