Problems with push lock fittings.

So I'm doing an air set up on my friends Monte SS and I am using these plastic push lock 3/8" air fittings from SD. The left rear one keeps popping off so SD sent me a free replacement because it was defective. So then we are towing the vehicle and the fitting on the other side blows to pieces and drops he right side of the vehicle. I am only running 100-160 psi at max so i dont think its got too much pressure. I have always used the compression style fittings and have never even had a leak let alone a line fly off. Has anyone else had problems with these push lock fittings? Cause they seem to be really shitty compared to what i've used in the past.

All I run are push lock fittings, but I don't run the plastic ones anymore. The only ones I use are the nickle plated or the all brass fittings. I have had a plastic one come apart in the past, but it was about 6 years old and it had about 400psi behind it.

im running dot ptc i bought them at the local parts house because they sell the 18 wheeler parts when i knew they sold them i have a feild day i bought eveything for my truck for less than 60 bucks in brass ptc

I'm running SMC push in fittings on my truck. Had them for years and never had to change one. They're grey and orange colored. You can't beat SMC for valves and fittings, they're awesome.

stay away from the plastic crapI will only use the brass ones, here's a site I've ordered from a lot and they have great customer service, even if the prices are a little high

push loc suck period. DOT compression is the best.

i had problems with them leakin so i bought the compression fittings also. i've never had a problem since.

ive got parker PTC fittings and they are the shit! plastic fittings suck!

Buy the all metal ones from Gravity Werx I replaced all my plastic PTC fittings w/ those and they are great.

i get the ones ekstensive sells those are the shit never had a problem or a leak
