my wife almost shit when i came home with my dually. she was like what the hell are you going to do with that thing! all i could tell her was wait till you drive it! youll understand. she has now driven it a few times and loves it ! it demands respect! from other drivers( so you dont run there ass over) and from you(so dont kill someone while driving it). it just says to all other drivers i dont care how much gas is i am still going to drive it!

Because there is nothing out there like a dually fender swallowing those deep rear lips!!When I had mine up for sale I showed my neighbor some of my offers and he was like " why does everyone want it so bad?" My response was its the biggest truck you can drive without a CDL and there isnt a bunch of them on the road. Its kind of a graduation kinda thing. You start with a mini when you are younger, then a fullsize, and then the pinnacle of the truck world. hahahahahaha

I have a love hate relationship with dually's. I love the way they look and grab attention, but man are they a pain in the ass and expensive when it comes to wheels and fitting them. I have had issues with mine back when it was brand new with a 5/7 static kit and steelies. Mine has the wide body option and would tear up my fenders with any wheel and tire combination. 19's fit the best but still had to run negative camber to get them to tuck, now with the 24's I need control arms, etc. Well over 5 g's just for wheels, and all the bs to make them fit. Any other truck out there for 5 g's I could have bought the truck and wheels for that price.

I have thought sooo many times of making her a fleetside, but keep telling myself it will all be worth it when I finally get to drive it again.

Haven't been on this site in a while, but looking at Campy's blue and white truck on 67-72chevys reminded me to come back over and revisit. There are so many great trucks over here I can't believe I'm not on this site more often.

I have a static drop '87 R30 with 19.5s. I drive it nearly every day. I've said it a lot, but it's as close as you'll come to driving a big block powered muscle car without being terrified that it will get ripped off or damaged (of course some of you guys have much nicer trucks than I do so that fear may be worse for you guys). The constant thumbs up, the "as a matter of fact, I do own the road," the big block rumble and the (always unused) potential to tow or haul nearly anything... there's really nothing I don't like about it. Could give a crap about the fuel cost compared to the enjoyment I get... At the end of the day, as someone else said, you either get it or you don't.

I always catch myself looking at '64-'66 Chevy subs and '65 Impalas but I know that I won't get rid of my big square, so I never take my shopping for other stuff too seriously. Looks like its square dually for life here and I ain't complaining!

Love riding in my dually, when I see the look on those environmental duchess in a hybrid.
