If I remember right, I get about 8" of travel. Too much lift and the axle shafts get in a hell of a bind. Since you're not working on a vette, you should be able to make room to mount the bags on the trailing arms...

Cool, I didnt know if that would be a strong enough mounting point on the hub?

you could cantilever it, heres one picture of how Ironworks Speed and Kustom in Bakersfield, CA did it on their 57 chevy truck...they can be mounted facing forward too, dont have to be going side to side. this rear end may be a little different than what your using as it is a c6



I notice this is a C5 corvette irs setup with the transaxle. Do you have any more pictures or a link to the trucks build?ThanksRobert
