Damn bro!!! i understand though, i have moved twice since i started cutting up the neon & that was a bitch. I am buying a house right now as well so i understand that too.......................85+ hours at my real job is whats taking away my time with the neon

well atleast i know someone has the same problems as i do. the grand am was supposed to be at gatordrag but this had to happen the night before.

I'm not sure why I have not seen this thread until now.
Dan you are a bad ass, you continue to excite me with the never ending build of the car. Gator Drag 08 is a great show to debut a vehicle at, especially with the location change to Texas!

Tx Showdown, we used a bycicle tire pump, but hey atleast it finally started & i got to drive it aroudn the show

They all can hate all they want. Point is not too many people body drop or bag a car. Anyone can bag a truck y b normal? Thats why I bagged my mazda 6 to turn heads. Probably same reason he tricked out his neon, If I cared what people thought I would be in a looney bin somewhere. I'm sure he feels the same way. Granted its a neon but then again its the only one which makes it nice. Bagged Trucks are a dime a dozen.

The neon is the first ever car i have owned. I have always been a truck guy. when i got the neon, no one was really fixing them up, & then the damn SRT4 came out & everyone & there mama got it. But i did want to do something different, something you don't see all the time. Don't get me wrong, i still love seeing a Bagged & BDed truck any day, but its nice to have something out of the norm thrown into the mix

bagging a truck isnt normal. nothing that we do is normal, which is why i started doing this at the age of 14, i can never fatham living a "NORMAL" life, and i commend all my brothers doing the same thing no matter what it is they are building

Done shaving the engine bay, now i just have to build the UCA's & then i can start then i can finish the body work on the engine bay. After that, my painter will be coming over to shoot the bay & then i can drop in the new engine & get all the wires tucked away. I went ahead & seemed sealed the firewall from the inside of the car & sprayed it with Underbody coating. Before the interior goes back, the whole car will be coated with underbody coating on the inside & it will have dynamat all through it as well.
