Club names

i think its taken.....

Decided on Kaotic Obsessions not taken until now. So now were waiting on the 4 different people we have working on logos including myself and then we are going to have a sit down and decide on one so hopefully by months end we will be up and running with about 6 members and 9 rides to start with.

when some other dudes take your club name it just makes you feel violated, because we work hard to create a positive image and when some other people get confused with your club, or say, hey i saw your club on the east coast etc etc, i t jsut errrks me.

I laughed the whole time I read this thread.I am glad you finally thought of a name to use though instead of stealing someone elses creation.

Me too now we just have to get a few logos figured out we decided we aren't going to run just one logo were gonna make a few different layouts and let people choose which one they want or make a new one to their liking. A little more individuality.

hey im not telling you how to run your club, but by running different logos youre only making separation. The reason people join and start clubs is for "unity". you should all be one and look like one. You want your logo to be recognized and associated with you and your club members. if you all run a bunch of different logos its just going to look funny.

Uniformity is where its at. all for one and one for all lol.

We were figuring it would appeal to more of a spread of people so say our logo has a demonic appearance to it what happens if someone who is a christian wants to join they won't want to run a demonic looking logo so we are going to come up with a few different ones the text and font will be the same just a different background so it will be known its the same. Mine for instance will be just text with a small design behind it while one of my friends whos truck is covered in skulls will have a demonic looking fire and brimstone type design behind his text.

I agree with Ernie. Different logos might not be the best idea. Now if you wanna do what your talking about instead of using different backgrounds do like different backgrounds inside of the font. That way the logo looks the same on all of the vehicles. Kinda like how some people have painted logos or different color font or like jeff from RA has his actually vehicle inside of the font. That way the logos are all basically the same. If you need pictures to better understand what I am talking about then let me know. I just think thats a good idea but you do what you want.

Thats basically what I mean by different logos they will be pretty much the same logo with just a little difference between them so you can personalize it a little but you will be able to tell that we are all together.

taking a club name thats already in use its absoloutely ridiculous and wrong. It doesnt matter where theyre from. people who dont know any different arent going to be able to tell the difference.

we have people that have stolen my club name before. just ridiculous. If you try hard enough you can find an original name.

I agree it is rediculous. But let's be serious here. Checking the club directory on SSM? SSM started maybe in 2000 about 7 years ago. What if the club name you have dates further back then that? And someone still takes your club name? Or the club evolved from a lowrider club? Not trying to start anything here but it's hard to come up with an original name.
