sup guys i need some advice on my truck the roof was full of dents which i got almost all of them out with a dolly and hammer but there was a spot that was pretty bad which i couldnt get it to be tooo good...well i ended up putting 1/4 of duraglass the dent is like 5 inches in diamater....will it crack..or is on the rear close to the window is an ext cab 94 chevy..thanks

you couldnt use a stud gun to pull it out?

james.. i did dolly most of the dents out but one of them would not stay in shape.well i even try with a torch and still didnt work so i had no chouce im doing my truck on a dead line so you know how it goes..ill be happy if it lasts 2 years..

weld on stud gun would be my first option or cut out the area and weld in a patch. 1/4" of filler is pushing it. i suppose it depends how much flex the area will absorb too.

your roof needs shrinks. The metal is stretched. However if you dont have access to a unispotter to shrink it, then your duraglass should be fine. I'd be quite doubtfull it will crack, unless your roof is under a lot of stress. Ive seen some hairy shit last a long time.

if its in an area were water can seep underit, itll definatly crack.

Grind that shit out push the dent up heat with mini torch and cinch with cold wet rag to shrink the stretched metal back into shape and take the flimsyness out of it thats too much filler man....might could get away with it in certain areas(low on the vehicle) but thats one of the hottest places on ur ride and that metal is gonna move under the filler when it gets hot and cold in diff temps which eventually will crack and make a real mess.

stud gun is the best way, but it won't crack, you'll be fine
