next time you try to use a low res picture

slap yourself

but on a serious note

USE HIGH RES IMAGES
they are hard to find but u learn faster

and i reccomend that when you use the lasso tool... feather it more

on a 2000 by xxx size image u can zoom in alot more and use like a 1 or .75 feather and zoom in to like 3 or 400 percent before u lasso ... and on your wheels leave the stock tires on it and match the rims and cut them up to get the angle of the stock ones and just scale them bigger so they look real

and on your paint... try not to use layers of color overlayed or burned or multiplied because you lose the body lines and detail

lasso the spots of the body u want a certain color and copy paste it over the original body and then ctrl+alt+u and colorize it

so ur coloring a copy of the body rather than gobbing it up with tons of color layers

and if u still see it starting to fade.. look at the original picture and the horizon lines... and u can lasso the horizon lines and make a new layer and use white or a light color of whatever color the body is and with a feathered brush set to like 40% brush the horizon line like a gradient almost going up from the bottom and then soft erase some of the top and bottom and play with that and u can do the same for bottom body lines.. hoods ect just add some light colors back and ull be surprised what u can come out with even with some shitty pictures...

i cant think of any more advice right now
but im always willin to help

Hey, thanks for the advice, Im definately going to take that horizon line tech into effect. As for finding the high res pics, Im having a very hard time finding good high res photo's of older trucks, are there any sites that have older but not yet classic vehicles on them that you guys use?? Thanks again for all the feedback...

not really man
you gotta get out and take your own pictures of most early 90's 80's and 70's stuff

just practice on new cars and trucks

chrysler has free media access
so does gm if you get approved
toyota and ford do too i believe

just google image searh and click on large image sizes and get ones over 1500 pixels wide
