I want that limited production aluminum 427 LS series motor they had in Hot Rod. I'd put that shit in a Geo.

i dont want to post all this guys pics, but he has put a lot of LS1's in first gens.

it is no harder than an LT1 in an S10. all you need is either to notch the frame for the a/c compressor or a bracket from Street and Performance to move the A/C to the top of the motor and vette alternator brackets to clear the steering box

Jags that Run have headers and motor mounts, cooling isnt that big a deal, you can use a 92-96vette radiator that has a built in oil cooler for an auto tranny...

biggest thing is the electrical, but Current Performance Wiring will get all you need for the LS1

its also what is in the SSR

and soon you can get an LS3 which will have like 440-450hp, its going in the standard Vettes

i read something about an LS8 somewhere thats supposed to have 600-640hp.....not sure where i read it and its been about a month ago...but that would be sweet for a 600HP vette

this dude wants 10k for an ls2, plus tranny and computer shit, and installation and get it up and running perfect. i wish i had the 10k to do it, i would find a way to make it fit right now.

if you can build suspension you can install an LS motor

id buy a takeout motor for like 4-5k and spend 3k putting it in myself

but thats just my cheap ass trying to save money..not to mention you know exactly where there is an issue if something goes wrong
