best mids and highs for the money?

Polk MOMO 6.5 Components!!!!!!!!!!! i'm in love with the clarity. Very Rigid design, I like em.

I run those with MOMO 5.25 components in my ext cab pillar where the factory 4x10s used to go (fiberglassed in their place). I love the sound in my truck.

I dont want to sound old or old school, but I think MB Quarts are still the shit!! I know they were bought out by rockford fosgate a few years ago and now are owned by maxsonics(HFonics)but their clarity never deminished.Diamond Audio used to have a killer componet set a few years ago.

If you can find them, Crystal Mobilesound makes some really nice sounding mids and highs. You will probably have to search the hell out of ebay to find some though. Another one that is OK for cheap is Cadence.

PS I have audiobahns in my suburban and they sound ok but dont last long. I've melted one of them.

thats all i will run, I am installing all my polk/MOMO gear in my new car

the 6.5" components are loud as hell and the clarity and clearness is top notch as well...they are however a bit too bright for some people's ears but oh well, i wont change it for other people!

Do you guys have Angstrom in the states?
I have a 6 1/2' with 1" tweeters (components)in my ranger and they're amazing.... And not too pricey...

Personly i think anything in the $50 -75 range even at wholesale will be throwing your money away if your use to having a real componite set. My two cents is go with morrel or dyn audio.

well in 2 of my truks im runnin the re audio componet sets an in my newest truk i just got spl mids in it so i mean if u want somethin cheap go 4 somethin low class but u pay 4 wha u get remember tha i mean i work at a stereo shop an tha all id run in my shit
