Any body out there spraying in a Blowtherm?? I will have mine up and running next week. The bake time is like only 15 minutes on paint jobs and then it is ready to cut and buff. awesome!!

I spray in the Ultra2000. It's got a 5 foot extension in the middle, so a crewcab longbed fits with plenty of room to walk around it. It sucks when changing the ceiling filters because the supplier has to special order the middle filter. Mixing room built on to the right side of it. I always bake at 145 for 30 minutes.

rushing custom paint by baking it is not advised.......baking is good for production but actually can trap solvents

Yea were in it for production work, mainly insurance stuff. But will do custom stuff as needed and those jobs can dry over night not baked. 80,000 grand to be exact on cost

I'm sorry your booth sucks and the filters are hard the change. but my filters are a breaze to change they are hinged from the roof and all you do is let let the two big filter doors swing down to change filters.

I work at Hampton Collision in BR. The ceiling filters are super easy to change. I have the flash set on 95degrees for 10 minutes before the bake cycle kicks on. Never had any solvent pop issues. Now if you're slamming the clear, of course you'll have solvent pop problems.

Trey-our booth is just like yours, with the mixing room on the right side, and the control panel is between the mixing room and the booth doors. Who did you have install it? H&W?
