speaking of jesus, some guy came up to our shop to have us make something small for him, and as he was bothering me with jesus talk, all i could think of was that standup special with jim gaffigan "id like to talk to you about jesus", "yah, i'd rather you not"

religion is for people who feel guilty for everything they do and think that they can wash it away with magic! why dont you just do what is right and not worry about it?

There was a guy that started a post on here in the last few years about a Christian Truck Club he was in called Disciples. For all the people who are making fun of this man's great Life Change, I would say to you, that if you don't believe, then you better hope it doesn't end for you before you are ready, because then you will know the truth and it will be too late. As for Josh that started this post. May you stand tall and make a difference in the lives of the people you come in contact with and be careful not to fall into old habits, because we know that there are many temptations within this hobby to keep a person off track. Congrats on your New Life.

I remember that thread. From what I read here, no one has been disrespectful to him. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and i'm glad to see people here keeping it respectful.

I say that you have obviously made a decision for yourself that you are very sure on. I think this is great. I dont feel that is make any of us "non believers" any better or worse people. Not to be negative but I dont think you have to preach to everyone what you believe to make you a better person. I will do what I think is right for the rest of my life and if who ever is there at the end didnt like the way I lived then I will deal with it then. I will not live in fear of dieing.
Thanks

im not sure if anyone has thought about it this way but God's not worried about religion, he just wants a personal relationship with us. regardless of who we are or what we've done, he loves us anyway. there is no hostility here, no one can force us to make a decision. but if anyone ever feels like something is missing in their life, he will be there with open arms. its just love, there's no catch...

I'm glad to see there are other people out there who choose to live a good clean life. I don't follow a particular religion by any means, but I respect the choice you made and it would be cool to be in a club of people with common ethical and spiritual ideas. Good Luck
