i dont remember the crash but apparently iwas racing some P.O.S. car and this truck carrying windshields pulled out in front of me and i hit it going about 100. Since we were racing and i was injured insurance isnt paying and theyre charging us with felonys.

They shouldn't have to pay shit....you were doing something illegal. And charges is what you should get.

I guess I can't imagine that a bank would allow a policy that wouldn't cover them no matter what the owner chose to do. Seems like a lot of total loss crashes ARE at least one of the drivers faults due to negligence, so how could they pick and choose what to pay... make sense?

Even though I know you have more in it, 3500 to 4000 is probably a more realistic expectation of what to ask if you really need to sell it. Otherwise you can ask in the 5-6k range, just plan to hold onto it for a good while. Like I said i couldn't get it sold for 4500 and I have over 6k in just the suspension and bodywork done on it originally. Now I'm droppin another 4k and i haven't even gotten to rims, paint, or interior yet. . .

ya the truck is totally a daily i drove it daily for almost a year untill i got my tahoe i pulled it apart to try and z it and decided not to. I just need to put it back together.
Oh ya and to mike cunt, dude i know i was doing something illegal. I was pretty young and dumb on my bike, but i spent 2 and 1/2 months in the hospital. Had 13 surgeries, and still have to go back for skin graft, broke my femur in half and it was sticking out my leg, broke my tibuia and broke my heal and now i have rods and screws up and down my whole leg. Not to mention i slit my throat on the glass from the truck and got 9 pints of blood the first day in the hospital. Ive learned my lesson, i was dumb and stupid for speeding and racing but i think ive suffered enough. i wont be able to walk for about 3 more months. i mean i should be dead right now but im not, it was a life changing event for me. It made a lot of my buddies realize that all the sh*t we were doing is dumb and that bikes can be really dangerous. Anywayz im done rambling on, sorry if i got a little carried away but this crash is really hard on me and for someone to say i deserve a felony really ticks me off, my lifes already changed i really dont need a felony tacked on too.

Well dude its not like I said you deserve to die for what you did. But I feel like you do the crime you do the time. I am sorry you got hurt. I would not wish that upon anyone but just b/c you got in a wreck do you think the judge would say well you have gone through enough so I am going to drop all charges? I doubt it. What if you had killed someone and it really hurt you inside and you carried it with you the rest of your life do you think that persons family is just going to forgive you? Nope I am glad that you have changed your life and I am glad that your still alive but I hate to see that it took this to happen for you to grow up.
