ive got a 91 toy b/d 3.75 with a z is it better to link it w/ a uni. joint and support it w/ a hiem. or notch the upper control arm.

ive got th arm notched with the stock steering and am changing it over to a ujoint for safety reasons, that little rubber pad doesnt looks safe.

3.5"bd, 1.25" z'd frame

heres mine.. havent had any problems. i had to add a second heim because it flopped around too much when i would turn the wheel

where did you get your u-joints

I got mine to work with only 1 heim joint. and i got my off a saturn at the junk yard. I think it was a saturn, Im not really sure. but that is were i would get it if i were you. and if you use the "if it fits in your tool bag its free" rule, they can be really cheap!

Go to the junk yard and look for some T-birds they have a "Standard DD U-Joint"

These U-Joints bolt on so it might make your install easier than those weld in types...

Although that installation above looks top notch with the weld in type.
