Everybody starts somewhere, i'm sure that anyone of the big name shops didn't start out over night with every tool imaginable. They started like everyone else, and idea and a welder, and then started doing side jobs to make money to stick back in the shop and buy more tools while then held down a 40 plus hour work week at there regular job. Now with that said I can also agree that these days it seems like anybody with a welder has a shop. I don't always agree with that. You are taking people lives in your hands when doing work like this. Not just the people drive the vehicle but other motorists as well.
Exactly. I didnt have enough energy to type all of that. I always recomend someone to get a job at a reputable shop in order to do things the correct way or else you learn bad habits. God knows what would of happened if i didnt stop. my first job was not great what so ever. Having people on the road riding on YOUR WELDS and your knowledge of structure, you better damn well be ready for the Consequences. Ive had too many trucks come in on trailers to still be ok with amateurs thinkin they are pros.
