Well, first I hate to say this, but you get what you pay for... You would be much better off with Hella or Bosch lamps first off.... Second off BLUE BULBS ARE SHIT. They do NOT increase the brightness, they do NOT light the road better, they are NOT hid is in any way shape or form.... they only serve one purpose, to make the headlight colour look better coming, and not to you but to the other drivers.

If you want brighter light first make sure that you are getting good voltage to the power terminals, and make sure your ground is good. I HIGHLY recomend bulding an upgrade harness that uses 10 gauge wire and 4 relays witha direct battery power source( fused of course )

as well, buy good bulbs, Hella, Bosch, Osram, all good companies, not the blue ones just good quality high performance clear ones.

with the black housing there is no relflection and that is a big part of a head light is the reflector on the back of the housing.it helps reflect the light out to see the road better.like aaron said a good quality bulb is a must.the blue bulbs are just purely a cosmetic look they really do not do a bunch for you.a lot of guys will tell you they are the closest thing to an hid that is false.

i dont no a dam thing about light but my work fine. shit they better they were fuckin expensive!

Hid will solve your problem and they work great! I still don't see the need for manufacturer's to keep making new vehicles with huge headlights!!! I swear they just keep getting bigger and bigger

so if i get some good bulbs and rewire it better it will be bright? i dont have alot of money for hid. can you draw me a wireing diagram with relays?

no there is no reason to rewire anything.. there is nothing to rewire.

what you need to do is get some OEM style bulbs that are brighter, dont buy into the hyper whites, etc.. its shit, just get OEM bulbs.

or get a set of HID's.. my buddy sells plug n play kits for a 150.. he's had em on his truck for 2 or 3 years now and has had no problems.. bright as hell. he sells 6,8,12 and maybe another one.

There is a big reason to rewire... the wiring in these trucks has a good amount of resistance, and re wiring will make the lights brighter, period. And putting HID's into a non HID housing is a bad idea, they through a great amount of light out, but they put it everywhere, not on the road where it belongs...They can and do blind other drivers, can cause dangerous glare to you and oncoming drivers in incliment weather and are illegal in most places.

have you done it before and it helped?
